Flight 14 moves a fifth time, now no earlier than Monday, September 28. We diffed SpaceX's page: the date is the only thing that changed

Flight 14 now targets no earlier than September 28, after published targets of September 30, 15, 18 and 22

The launch date has moved again. SpaceX's Flight 14 page now reads "preparing to launch as soon as Monday, September 28, pending regulatory approval", a six-day slip from the Tuesday, September 22 target we reported September 15. The 75-minute window still opens at 7:15 AM Central. The slip surfaced when NASASpaceflight flagged an updated NOTAM (the airspace notice that fences off a flight corridor), and SpaceX's own page followed. The full path of published targets now runs September 30 → 15 → 18 → 22 → 28; no reason has been stated publicly beyond the standing "pending regulatory approval," and the FAA launch-license modification that the first orbital flight needs still hasn't been announced by either SpaceX or the FAA. Until one of them announces it, we won't call the paperwork done, and we'd treat September 28 as movable too.

Here's what we can add that a headline can't: we kept our September 17 read of SpaceX's Flight 14 page and compared it line by line against today's. The only change on the entire page is the date. Everything else is word-for-word identical: first attempt at orbit, 26 Starlink V3 satellites, roughly 275 km altitude, about six orbits over a nearly 10-hour flight, splashdown in the Pacific west of Chile, and the same minute-by-minute timeline we broke down Thursday. Whatever is holding the flight, SpaceX isn't signaling any change to the mission itself.

On the ground: the city's beach page this morning says it plainly: "Boca Chica Beach is open." No road delays, no public notices, and the newest executed closure order is still August 30. The city typically posts launch closure orders 2–5 days ahead, so with a September 28 target, expect the first mayor's order somewhere around September 23–26. If you had weekend beach plans out at Boca Chica, you're clear. Real-time alerts: text BEACH to 866-513-3475.
